I am an experienced journalist and communicator having worked for more than 20 years on national newspapers including as Health Editor at the Daily Express.
I am now a highly sought-after communications specialist working across the healthcare sector and am passionate about helping clients and brands cut through the corporate noise to hone all communications using authentic, clear, impactful and memorable storytelling.
I am highly skilled at spotting the hard-hitting story angle, scrutinising messaging to ensure high impact, and producing carefully crafted and on-message content that grabs attention.
I also deliver creative strategic insight, media relations and corporate communication support for a wide range of businesses including PR agencies, pharmaceutical companies and charities in the UK and worldwide.
I help craft thought-leading narratives for companies as well as content for executives – from social media to speeches – using my journalism background to capture their authentic tone of voice, helping build reputation and influence.
I am also an in-demand media trainer, combining my inside knowledge of the media with continued expertise as a working journalist to help in-house teams, spokespeople and executives be confident when dealing with the media whether that’s selling in a story or facing a grilling.
